Patrick Brandt is the president and chief executive officer of Skywire Software. Brandt founded Skywire Software in 2000. Under his leadership, the company has experienced tremendous growth both organically and through nine acquisitions. Today, the company delivers market leading software and services to more than 1,600 customers worldwide, including insurance, health care, financial services and utility companies.

Under Brandt’s leadership, the company has earned more than 20 awards including recognition as one of the top five fastest growing companies by the Comerica Collin 60 and as one of the Best Places to Work in Dallas. In 2007 he was named as a Finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2006 the Dallas Business Journal named Brandt as one of the Top 40 Under 40 business leaders for the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex. He also was honored for his leadership and service to the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas ("EFNT") with the Ellis Award. In 2004 he earned the Tech Titans Emerging CEO award from the Metroplex Technology Business Council.

Prior to founding Skywire Software, Brandt was engaged in a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors where he drew together and sharpened many of the skills that he used in building Skywire Software.

Brandt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance from Southern Methodist University and also participated in the MBA program.
