Dave Roush
Dave provided the strategic vision for the development of ComparisonMarket. The company seeks to empower consumers to make informed financial choices, enhancing the financial security of their customers, business partners, shareholders and employees. Previously, as the leader of Progressive’s Strategic Alliances group, Mr. Roush’s team established long term, mutually beneficial relationships with other insurance companies, national brokers, large employers, affinity groups, financial institutions, Internet affiliates, etc. Under Mr. Roush’s leadership, this business had grown from $13 million in written premium to approximately $600 million, a compounded annual growth rate of over 30%. Average return on equity during this period exceeded 20% and exceeded Progressive’s performance during this time. The division distributes products through Internet affiliate sites, call centers, call transfer, direct mail, payroll deduct and agents/brokers. To facilitate this growth, the division built a 400+ person sales center and a 400+ person customer service center. Concurrently, Mr. Roush managed state general managers who in turn had P&L responsibility for an additional $300 - $500 million in premium.

Prior to Mr. Roush’s thirteen years building Strategic Alliances, Mr. Roush held marketing positions of increasing importance at Progressive, beginning in 1982. Mr. Roush holds an MBA from Harvard University, BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a CPA.
